The configuration of the rectifier module is mainlydetermined by the maximum constant load current and battery charging currentC10(battery capacity). The total rated output current of all modules should begreater than or equal to the sum of the maximum constant load current andbattery charging current of the system。IfN+1 redundancy is to be realized, one more module should be added on the basisof the original number

③ capacity calculation
Thecapacity of the battery is determined by the maximum instantaneous load of thesystem which are in the state of power failure, and the surplus must beappropriately increased in combination with the actual situation.The systemload is divided into constant load (Izc), emergency load (Isg) and impact load(Ihz).The constant load mainly includes the frequently charged relay, signallamp and other electrical equipment connected to the DC system. The emergencyload is the load that must be power supplied by the dc system when the power iscut off due to the loss of ac power in the power substation, mainly foraccident lighting.Theimpact load is mainly the sum of the borne loads of which the short (0.1~ 0.5s)closing impact current and with its DC bus.The maximum instantaneous load is the sum of the above threeloads, namely the maximum instantaneous load of the battery Imax=Izc+Isg+Ihz,then the battery capacity =Imax/ battery discharge rate * reserve coefficient(Ah)。
(1) Thedischarge rate of maintenance-free lead-acid batteries is usually 0.1。
(2) The above calculation method can achieve the continuous discharge for 1hour of the system which is in the state of power failure。
(3) The remainingbattery capacity shall not be less than 25 of the rated capacity to avoid excessive discharge ofbattery when thebattery is closed at the end of discharge。
(4) Considering thedecaying capacity at the end of battery aging, the reserve coefficient of 1.2is generally chosen。
